Default A k-car you don't see often

Here is a link to my rare Turbo Plymouth Reliant Wagon.
I found out they ony made 40 to 60 of these and were not
available to the public, only gov and gov contractors.
The turbo engine was not an option for the Reliant cars.
But here is one.........

nice & rare.... what is with that thing on the hood? Is that some sort of intake "speed" hole?

That hole in the hood is to let the hot air vent out. I used to own a 85 Shelby Charger and it also had the same type of vent on the hood. It is to let the heat generated by the turbo to vent out and keep the engine bay cooler.

A freind is into k-cars and there's an 86 wagon like that for sale around the corner. I've been trying to tak him into getting it and converting it to turbo.
