91 Dynasty 3.3 Rough Idle and Hesitation
Hey all,
Thanks for letting me join the forum. I bought this 91 Dynasty a few months ago, and ever since I owned it, it seems to have been having a hard time idling - but only when "cold". After 10 minutes of warming up, runs great. The main problem is that when I press the gas pedal, it doesnt go nowhere, it just continues to idle. When it does that, I get aggrevated and slam it to the floor and it takes off finally. My thinking is that the TPS is not providing the correct voltage, but dont understand why it would only do that when cold if that was the case. This car has only 130,900 miles on it, and was extremely well taken care of. The platinum bosch plugs look great with the correct gap, just replaced the air filter, plug wires are fine. The only other thing I can think of is possibly the fuel filter, which looks kinda tricky to change. Is this a common problem on these? It just doesnt seem to idle like it should, seeming as the wheel shakes like crazy when idling. Thanks for any input.
