I took my hubcaps off and painted the stock rims primer grey, looks really good to me and a few friends. I like chrome, but not on my car only thing I want chrome on my car is exaust parts. Not to mention I like the look of flat paint.

my rims are one piece not rim and hubcap. I am thinking of just refinishing to silver or maybe a different color once its painted blue. I will be getting new rims in the end for it and they will be chrome 17"s with 34 or 40 series tires..not sure what style yet....i will see whats out there when i got the cash to buy 'em

Sounds good, in my opinion non-chrome rims look better on a Shadow. But that just my opinion.. I plan to paint my car this summer, but not sure what color yet, I love blue but dont want to go with blue cuz everyone has done it...I like to be different, I have seen a Yellow Shadow around my house which looks really sweet. Ive thought about goin with a yellow like it but still unsure if thats what I want to go with. On a side note: I stopped and looked at a Black 93 Shadow ES..had nearly 160 thousand miles on it, no rust (even underneath) which surprised me for a Michigan car, had tan/woodgrain interior which looked fairly clean. But the guy wanted 1700 for it, way too much for me lol. Ive been lookin at a Silver 90 Shadow ES thats goin for 650 O.B.O. Its really nasty looking tho, but does have a rebuilt trans, which makes up for it price wise. If I can get the money and talk the guy down to around 400 I might buy it and store it at my moms for now (havin 3 shadows here will be too many cars lol).

nice...i was considering a midnight blue...looks like black from far and then a deep blue close up if not, i'll see what they have to offer when i go; pearl white; candy red; copper orange; not really a fan of yellow to bright for me...i'm not paying for a premium paint job, just enough to make it look nice. Maybe i'll put some colors up for a vote.

Same with rims, it all depends on body color and price/style....i guess it will always come down to the all mighty dollar....

i would also like to pick up a spare parts car but i live in apartment and its bad enough working in the stall or having to go to my friends place to work on it. I will hopefully be moving in the coming months and maybe to a house.....get new brake pads tomorrow....tires are all thats left to go and then it will be in real good running condition

I'll try and get the some speaker install photos up tomorrow aswell. My website should be done by next week....i'll keep you posted.

Hey atleast you have a garage, I dont even have that much. I usually do my work in the driveway, or at my dads house. I store all my spare parts (that are too big to keep here) at my moms house in her garage.
