Anyone know where to get piston rods and pins for a 2.5 I4? Ive looked around quite a bit and cant find prices or anything on them at all. Let alone a place to buy them from, If I rebuild the motor again Im not sure if I wanna take the risk with the stock pins and rods, seeings what happened last time.

find someone parting a 89+ turbo 2.5 and get the rods . have them checked and install them and u should be fine . or look in a junk yard . the rods are bigger than a tbi rod i think they are 699 grams compared to the tbi 659

if u go to a dealer u will pay a arm and a leg . when i priced a TII rod it was like 170 something for one .
