1991 Chrysler saratoga trunk lamp

I have a 1991 chrysler saratoga. European version of dodge spirit

This is my first post by the way. Nice to meet you all!

My trunk lamp doesnt stop lightning when closing trunk.

Is there a sensor somewhere?

There should be a switch near the trunk latch. It's either dirty or broken.
