1993 Dynasty trans shudders shifting to 2nd and 3rd
Yesterday was the coolest morning of the year where I live, and when I started my 1993 dynasty 3.0 and backed out of my driveway, the trans wouldn't go into drive. After some engine revving, I got it to go, but it would not shift into second gear. Figuring low fluid, I traveled 6 miles at about 20 mph on the side of the road to the only store open at that hour that sold fluid and added ATF 4 to full level. Shifting returned to normal for a while. When I got home again, and was just driving around town, I noticed slip on shift. Today, I took it down the road to get over 50 and there was a considerable shudder shifting into 2nd and 3rd. No noise, though. I'm thinking: change tranny and differential fluid and see if that works. Any suggestions?

Thanks for taking the time to look over my problem and answer. However, I picked up a newer car yesterday and will be salvaging this one out. Again, Thanks.
