need to replace ATF in 1986 dodge 600 turbo

The latest reiteration of dexron II is backwards compatible.

thanks jkeaton, so how much goes in. auto supply shop said 8 quarts but I don't think that's right and the manual doesn't say.

When we did pan drops, it was about 4 quarts. As you know, quite a bit of fluid stays in the Torque converter and hides in various other nooks of the transmission.

FYI, the first official paying job I did as a Chrysler Tech back in 1992. A head gasket and timing belt....shocker I know.
