91 Shadow 2.5 No Start / no crank / please help
91 Shadow Convertible, 65K original miles (was a tow car for RV)
Decided not to crank.
Checked battery = good
Checked starter at store = good
Changed to new ign switch, still no crank
Relay tests good with meter (if I got the right one, would love a part #)
Will start and run when +12VDC applied to starter small wire at the connector by battery, reconnected gray cannon plug and drove fine.
Will not crank. What readings should I get from a good park/neutral switch and park throttle unlock (listed on the print)?
Are the sensors just supposed to go to ground for a good reading? Can I bypass?
Honestly thinking about wiring a start button in, just wanting to get her sold....
