Default need fuel filter help plz

ok, i just registered for this site for my shadow. its my winter beater, and i need a little help.

i have this leak from the in hose to the fuel filter. i need to know if there is a specific name for this part, or is it just a standard hose?? and if so, what size?? i need to replace this hose ASAP, and wanna know what to ask for so i dont have to try and explain it.

i checked the hayne's manual, but it dosent make any refernce to it. any help is apprciated. thanks

ps - in the 2nd pic, that rusted part is a quick connect fitting.

does this come with the hose part, or is that a seperate part next to the hose?

Do what I did, buy some high pressure gas hose, cut the bad spot out and put new in. Use HIGH PRESSURE hose clamps aswell, make sure its all nice and tight. Not sure what size the hose is as I did mine about 8 or 9 months ago. Mine broke before the fuel filter though so I replaced the hard steel line with a rubber one (where it had rusted thru). also I replaced all the hoses on the fuel filter itself.

Yikes I've seen a guy get gassed in the eyes cuz he didn't depressurize the lines... UGLY... Almost ended up taking him to the hospital (He wouldn't let us and he's big as a bear I wasn't about to try wrestling him into a car LOL).
As for the problem at hand I agree go with the cutting out of the bad parts and replacing with rubber hose. It'll be MUCH easier and cheaper than trying to find and buy the stock replacements.
