Default N/A 2.2 vibration...help

Bought a 82 rampage, 5220 holley. No computer or o2 sensor. Changed 3 motor mounts. Rebuilt 2 different carbs, nothing helps this vibration from idle to top speed on the highway.
Help

The early 2.2 didn't have balancer shafts like the later ones did. If you are sure it's the motor causing it (not a miss fire/weak cylinder etc) may want to upgrade to the later versions of the 2.2/2.5's Or consider a V8 swap!

The only 2.2 that had balance shafts I think were the 2.2 vnt engines, all others were 2.5 4cylinders which weren’t available in 1982

engine vibrations can come from a miss adjusted timing belt but you would also have sluggish power and distributor would be cocked around and not lined up properly
