"98 Acclaim starts then dies.I changed the fuel filter because thats what it acted like but now Im stumped.Hit the key it fires up then dies.Any sugestions besides a gas can and a lighter? Please help.

 

Possibly could be a clogged fuel injector or many other things, Bassboy would you like to handle this one?

 

Talked to a friend of mine today,said he has another throttle body to try.It runs when I pour gas into it,well see.

 

Turns out its not the Injector,theres no power going to the injector so now im thinking computer.Help........anyone.

 

Check your fuses, there is sometimes a fuse for the fuel system. Also trace the wires from the injector back and make sure there isnt a cut or anything in them (aswell as checking any wire harnesses if there are any). I would start out by unhooking the battery for a few mins then hooking it back up, sometimes this helps. You could also check the conections on the computer.

 

Thanx for the help but I found it,turned out to be the MAP sensor.
