Default Got a parts car

I bought that parts Shadow off the feller down the road there, dont know the year, but its same motor/tranny as mine, four door, blue in colour no flaking, but hood is faded bad, rockers are rusted bad, everything else is fine, trunk wont close. It must be a higher model then mine, because it has a trunk release, spoiler, dodge mud flaps, tachometer, sunroof and a casette deck (80's [8D] ) So anyways, I was wondering how to get that spoiler off LOL, and another question, the trunk release seems fairly simple, its just a switch and a cable going to the trunk, could I put this on my car? Thanks!

The spoiler is two screws on each side and 6 (I think) nuts that are hiding in holes in the inner skin of the hatch. You can add the hatch release, just fish the cable back. If I remember all the holes for the handle are there, just have to cut the carpet. I did this to my old ragtop cos they don't come with one. Be careful with the nuts, easy to loose inside the hatch. I think there are plastic covers over the holes.

Alright, well I got around to taking some of this stuff off. I got the spoiler off, it was 6 nuts and I think 12 or 16 screws on either side of the hatch lid, going verticly, I lost some of the nuts, so if you guys have any ideas on how to get them out, please tell me. Also, I got the hatch release out...... that was alot more work then I expected, I ended up taking out the back seat, the front drivers seat, and had to cut through the door jam plastic (the screws where rusted out) I eventually got it out, but now the hatch wont close all the way on the parts car! anyways, some success, now I gotta install them. Any suggestions on getting the spoiler in? maybe I should pay a body shop to paint/install it, what do ya think.

Fairly easy to put the spoiler on, just mark the holes and drill. I was going to put one on my 93 Shadow but never got around to it before I got the Neon. As far as the hatch not closing, check the latch for it..or even better remove the 3 bolts that hold the latch in place and it should shut all the way just no latch. I put an electric door lock solonoid on my Shadow to pop the hatch, and removed the exterior lock. Also to check the year of your parts car look at the id tag inside the drivers side front door it should say there, if not you can check it by the VIN #.
