Well this is the deal, i think i have a vaccum leak somewhere but let me explain the problem first. If i step on the gas all the way to the floor in park or neutral and pop off real quick the idle goes something like this. blup blup (that lasts a half a second) and then the sound of the idle rising and dropping like normal. Its that first blup blup that makes me wonder. Or is that normal for all fuel injected cars? Its not really a problem but i would like to diagnose the problem. Any help would be much appreciated.

 

ya i think i know what your talking about, my ex's 01 saturn did that id hammer the gas take my foot off real quick it would make a funny noise and the RPMS would go up down then lvl out, i did it to amuse myself while i was waiting fer her, i believe its normal

 

It is normal, a friend of mine has a 91 Shadow America. It does the same thing.
