Okay i bought a programmer for my dodge dakota and i don't know how to install it.

what programmer ? you have to load your stock file on 1st and then put on a tune of somesort

it is a cheap tuner i got from ebay called ultimate tuning and performance i am going to get a better one later i just figured i would test this one out since it was so cheap. here is a link http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=180543683245

LOL!! Sorry you got screwed! That is not a programmer. Even the add doesn't call it a programmer. It calls it a performance chip. LOL! What it really is 2 resisters. You can buy 10 of them for 99 cents at Radio Shack.

Get your money back if you can.

And they say they include instructions.

For TRUE performance parts go to the 1st Generation Dakota sub Forum and go to the FAQ2. That will give you all you ever need.

thank both of you much I registered to this forum for that particular reason and the "Performance chip..." Has a 30 day money back guarantee and ebay has a 7 day return policy so i am covered lol. Thanks
