My names Zach, recently purchased a 2001 Silver Dodge Dakota Quad Cab w/ 164k. 1st vehicle was a 1976 C-10, then went with a 1988 Wrangler, completely built it up, then I went to a 1997 Wrangler, which I built up. all paid for myself in case your were wondering.

Sold the wrangler, wanted a truck. Found this one thanks to my girlfriend who was helping me look for a new vehicle. It was about 4 hours away from where i live, but at the price i was willing to take it on. 3.9l v6, Automatic,Quad Cab, 4x4.

-The truck had everything the jeep didn't have to offer ( in a good way)

:Rust Free!, tinted windows, silver/black combo which is awesome, aftermarket hood, new idle air control and T.P.S. Sensor, sick HALO Headlights, auto dimming rear-view mirror, tonno cover, bed-liner, did an oil change today, runs like a top, starts right up, bought 1 day, registered and inspected the next, driving that day.

only thing I don't like is the aftermarket bumper cover. too tuner-ish imho.

Looking to get a Cold air intake, having trouble finding one, then a magnaflow muffler, and an OE replacement bumper cover with fog lights.

Very clean looking truck man. I'm sure with your build history although it "needs nothing" It's going to get alot haha. Definitely with you on that bumper. ALthough it seems with that hood and those black head lights its asking for a blackout look. Lets see how this goes!

any ideas on to what muffler I could get? 3.9l v6? i really want a magnaflow my brother has flowmaster.

 

Oh man If only I knew what was on mine, THey sound mean. I had a Tacoma with trd but that doesn't help eiether haha. Nice find on the bumper. Color matched ? or will you need to paint it?
I just picked up a black grill and black mirrors for less then 80 I believe haha. Both of us have truck work coming.

 

im gonna have to paint but its ok, great find for the grill and mirrors, thats pretty cheap. and yeah we definitely got some truck work ahead of us haha. i like the sound of magnaflow, just got to find the one that will fit mine haha

 

For some reason I think magnaflow is what I have. I may have to check the book mine came with with every thing done to it. Because it is a very nice sounding truck. It's loud haha.

EDIT; so yesterday and today I finished replacing the rear brakes and springs all brand new( started to squeal and pulsate) and it's running beautiful!

 

5.2L lol, nice man. I haven't got to check the exhaust yet, but my grill was delivered today.
