I have just been gifted my deceased father in law's 2007 V6 Dodge Dakota. Since I am new to this platform, I am looking for ideas, suggestions, and guidance as I go through the process of fixing it up. So far I have had it detailed (it was a work truck that wasn’t very well cared for), replaced the throttle body, the charcoal filter in the gas tank, front struts and sway link, changed the transmission fluid.

Short term: I would like to get wheels and tires (very confusing for me right now), tint driver and passenger windows,

Long term: perhaps level it, replace the seat or recondition them, reupholster carpet and headliner, replace stereo and speakers, tonneau cover, change front grill to black, black front and rear bumper, and repaint.

Possibley/Not sure yet: cold air intake and exhaust. Not really sure because I know very little about them.

i am not a mechanic so this will be a long process for a lot of this but I am excited to be a part of this group and to learn from everyone as I share my Dakota journey.
