DF Meet of Michigan
We usually go out on Friday or Saturday night. Light a bonfire, crank the tunes, and party. Good ole fashioned redneck shindig, just with louder music most of the time. If there's enough people we float a keg in the pond to keep it cold, but it's usually BYOB. We're usually up all night and camp out there for safety.
Once I get my Ram back together, and find out when I'm going to be in Colorado, I'll probably set a date and see if anyone wants to trek over.

YEEHAWW!!! Now that's what I like! Haven't been to a bonfire yet this year. As always when I go to parties I gotta bring my fiddle and just saw away!

Sounds good. By bros have had a few bonfires out there, I haven't made it to any yet this year. Never known anyone that played the fiddle before. Bring it on out. Drunken fiddle playing HAS to be entertaining!
Well, we insist people camp there if they are drinking just to be safe. We usually cut loose real good. I will give you a little party hint though - Trying to ride the keg floating in the pond is a BAD idea!
Ahhh I see! I've never been to a party that wild before. I've been on a log floating in the water. That's it. Although Keg riding does sound like it would be a barrel of fun

That was way too punny! It doesn't usually get that wild out there anymore. We used to have a couple hundred people show up at a time, that just got nuts. Try to keep it down to 6-10 people now, with some exceptions. Not as much crazy stuff going on, but a lot more sane. By the way, I will admit to riding a keg in Lake Superior. I didn't do it in the pond at the farm, cause that pond is nasty.
What the heck is a punny?!?! Sounds like you live in true redneckville out that way! I was in grand rapids this past may on my way back down from Traverse City (which is where I wanna live) and my mom and I stayed in Holland. I've never been in a pond but I did catch a fish once with my finger from a pond.
