lighting question
I'm kinda new here, and I promise I searched first, but nothing came up so forgive me.
I want to change the backlight color for my guages. Is this possible? I'm doing an all-blue "theme", I guess you could call it, with my interior lighting. Nothing ricey, nothing neon or blinky, just an extra bit of ambient light from the vents & hopefully the guages. As far as I can tell by taking my dash apart, the green color comes from colored filters in the guages b/c the existing backlights are plain white. Has anyone done this & can tell me how to do it? I don't want to screw anything up & have to buy a new cluster or anything.

ummmm....dunno man.Usually they come with the gauges.Ex....whenI bought my 30 psi gauge from autometer it came with a green and red one.Youcan find them at most rice shops, try calling autometer...they should know
you need to change the bulbs in the dash and gauges then, just swaping condoms isn't going to do it. autoluminations has a kit that comes with all the bulbs that you need to do the dash and the boost gauge, you'll need a few extra if you have any more gauges.

OK I got my LEDs today & everything was going smoothly until I took the stock bulbs out. I cannot get the damn things out of their sockets in order to put the LEDs in. I have been pulling & wiggling for an hour now. I'm getting a blister on my finger. How the heck do they come out? To clarify, I have them OUT of the back of the cluster, but I cannot get the actual bulbs out of the greay sockets. Help!
