ok sorry for this dumb post, but i was wanying to know exact what wot means! i think i know but i am not sure. is it when you never take your foot off the gas and your banging gears? sorry again but i have only had a turbo car for 5 weeks! thanks emily!

 

Wide Open Throttle

 

WOT simply means wide open throttle. Its when you got the pedal to the metal babe! Now there is a boost hold feature with Stage 1,2,3 upgrages that allows you to shift during WOT and you can hold boost if you do it fast enough.

yes it really makes a difference. is it hard to do? not really, but if you pull the clutch too quick you'll grind and over time that will do some damage.

 

then why even do it?? unless u racing!

 

yup, only do it if your ***** to the walls accelerating or dragging. it works a little with S0, but better with other stage upgrades, as S0 tends to let go of the boost rather quickly and without hesitation, but you can still keep some of the boost on S0 doing WOT shifting. although i do not wot shift 1 to 2nd, due to traction issues.

 

Wide Open Throttle shifting is a technique used when your preparing to buy a new clutch or tranny. My buddy BigfaceFMIC is working on his 3rd tranny thanks to WOT shifting...ask him about it.

sounds like someone doesn't know how to drive. i have over 150 passes on my clutch and tranny and not a single problem caused by wot shifting.
