Okay everyone im on the verge of gettin another car besides a honda. Dont get me wrong im not a civic fan im more for an accord. I love hondas dont get me wrong but the scene is dead and ontop of that im looking into something that was bron a ready out of the box streetracing car. Im 25 have no bills and whatnot and i was leanin towards more on the lancer but its like everyone has one.

But ive been in love with the dodge srt4 ever since it came out. Im now making the funds 1,600 every 2 weeks after taxes 1,200 which one should i get. My insurance is gonna be 405 a month in the city . I have no kids no real responsibilities monthly payments on a 2003 lancer evolution shouldnt be that much for a 25,000 loan if i put say 3-7 g's down with the amount of money i make. Or i can headhunt for an srt4 the main reason why i like them is because they are so different and they are the underdog. And the car i used to drive was the underdog a 92 h22 swapped 4-doorhonda accord. So your opinions on here would be most helpful.

 

no doubt, i love my SRT4. but the EVO is a badass one if you got the money. its all in what you want to do with it. guy here has an evo that is pretty krazy. but if you like being the underdog, go with an SRT that looks like an sxt, and build it up from there. youll be suprising people all the time. or if your into doing some work, get an old 1st gen neonand swap in the SRT and mod the hell out of it. youll have ppl saying wtf.

well, this is a dodge site, so most opinions are gonna be SRT-4... i saw the new commercial for the new lancer... it looks fuccin sick!! i'd get that if i had the cash. and after that i'd mod it a lot. like uhmmm... a lot of ****! lol. im not good at modding if you hadnt noticed. haha.

 

yeah, post in an evo forum and youll get a post in favor of the evo. your asking this on the dodgeforum... let alone now that its in the srt4 section. but ill maintain you should go for a sleeper (1st gen S3 SRT swap)

dont do the ****ing sxt swap!!! thats dumb.. anyways.. first u are 25 and no bills??? where you live? no credit cards? no cell phone?? wish i had no bills.. i was in love witht he evo and i knew i couldn't afford them and also loved teh srt4's so i got the srt4.. now after i have mine i'm TOTALLY in love with the srt4 and really they are pretty much the same as far as quickness and what u can do with them... so i would go with the srt4 cheaper so u can have more money to mod it.. thats what i think!!!!!!

 

the only real benefit to the evo is AWD. and i think sxt swap is damn sexy, but i dont think we need to get into this again now silver, do we?[8D]

 

405/mo for insurance alone....lol. buy a $3,000 beater and save your money. how long are the payments going to last???3-5 yrs??? do you really see yourself living in the land of no responsibility for that long? house down payments are min of 20% to avoid PMI insurance. i would say go with a car that doesnt need to have collision, get one that the previous owner hopped up if you want. good luck

 

Well I say if he was going for an evo or sti, then he already made a better choice money wise with the srt-4. insurane is going to be high for any of those cars.
