lots more sand, lots less plants (ok, no plants whatsoever). but the humidity is suprisingly (and not in a good way) high in the summer- last aug. ('03) they would regularly report 126 degrees and 90% humidity. i don't understand that at all. BUT, i still think i'd rather be in the desert than the southeastern asian jungle. AND we have ac in our tents (though i understand they have hard billets now).

Whats your AFSC barneydriver? Yeah, its hotter than hell over here. I sweat like a ***** in church all day every day. Ill be here till 5January2005. Im doing a 120 day tour. Thanx for all the support guys. The humidity is high because the deid is on a penninsula so the ocean isnt too far away. oh, yeah, im out on the flightline and that 126 bull goes out the window, its more like 140.

yeah, i believe it dude- i don't want to jack the thread- pm me and i'll buy you a newcastle when i get there.
i'm an 11M something something- i used to be an 11C something, but then amc changed all the afsc designations for pilots- as if it wasn't confusing enough already...
...i just looked it up on ams- apparently i'm an 11M2K, whatever the hell that means. i think 11 is pilot, m is mobility, and 2K means i'm 2 Kool for school, or something equally gay.[sm=smiley2.gif]
honestly, i've haven't known my afsc since jsupt (Joint Specialized Undergraduate Pilot Training), when i was a 92TO, which in the bean counters arcane language is student pilot.

what kind of gaines can be expected from the borla. I was looking at the maxxfab single tip turbo back with magnaflow muffler and it says 12hp and 12lb-ft tq with cat and more with out cat. I like the single exhaust cause it can confuse people to race on the street.

Either way i wish you both the best of luck /salute.
Im not anyway in connected to the military so I commend you all that are defending us.
I do however work for Union Pacific RailRoad and as a conductor am responsible for the safe delivery of tons of military equipment. This no way compares to what you guys are going through, but at least I can help a little. Not to mention an occasional auto train loaded with who knows perhaps SRT-4s. Well its mostly chevs and ford trucks but im looking for the load of srt4's.

Anyone have a railroad spur track near there house we can set a couple of autoracks in?

(Ft. Lewis is right across the highway from McChord AFB, btw, in case anyone is wondering why I'm talking about an army base like I live there)
