Axles ???
If there is anyone out there withreal honest to goodness info on what axleswill fit what years, I would greatly appreciate some help. So far I have had two Dealersgive me two differentanswers and the auto parts houses are even more confused. My son and I both have 2003 SRT-4's. I have to replace the passenger side axle on mine and I am gathering info on what parts will interchange between 2003, 2004 and 2005's.
Thanks!
Thanks a lot! Do you have any part numbers? One dealer gave me some numbers and said the left would fit all, but the right is different for the 03.I like to get my ducks in line and go back to the dealer and say "Hey, what's the deal?". HeeHee!I like to see 'em squirm!
I'mgoing to round up some spare parts to take to the track in case something breaks.

Thanks for the numbers. Here are theNumbers I got from the local dealer in Tulsa (Crown Dodge).
Left: 2003-2005 5037623AA (supercedes 5037445AA)
Right: 2003 5286710AE (supercedes 5286710AC)
My Original Right P05286710AD / TVETG1123B0065
Would you mind giving me the name and location of the dealer you gotyour prices from and a phone number/s, preferably an 800 number. They are really gouging on the price here. I was quoted $230 for one axle.
The local auto parts places all list the wrong shaft. I had O'Reily Auto order me one and it was very wrong! It was34" long instead of 21.5". Advance Auto had one in stock and it was the same thing. I checked with NAPA Auto and they don't list either axle.
I got my axle off this evening, along with the carrier and hub, and am taking it to a CV repair shop tomorrow (Wed). I talked to the owner today and he doesCV's for a lot of the local roundy round racers in the area. He's been in buisness for 30 years. We'll see what's bent on mine and if itcan be repaired. He even checked to see if there was an outer joint available that he could use to repair mine if the wheel splineis bent. Sounds promising!
Thanks again!
Harry
axles are fairly cheap, i would really suggest just buying new ones rather than rebuilding your broken ones. you can order axles from either mpsc or s&p, either one will take care of you.
mspc - 800-456-5337. ask for parts department and speak to jeff. if he's not in ted or joel will take care of you.
s&p - i don't have a phone number for them, but here's the email for james speedandpowerdevelopment@gmail.com.

What/who is MSPC ?
Dealer axles are not cheap. The price today was Left-$205 Right-$302. What a rip off!!!
That's Dodge's suggested retail and none of the local dealers will come off that price at all.
As it turns out my shaft is straight, but the hub was bent so I went to one of the local dealers and got a new hub and a new bearing . Back on the road at 2 pm! Gonna get it aligned tomorrow. I needed this thing back on the road ASAP so I didn't have time to order. Going to a car show in Oklahoma City this weekend.
I'll contact S&P and ??? MSPC ??? next week.
Thanks for the info!

mpsc = mopar super center.
axles are really not that expensive. mpsc sells them for $115 plus like $8 shipping or so (yea i've bought a few lol), and s&p are around the same. i think s&p is running a sale on them right now too.
