Yes, the average driver will go thru a stock set of plugs every 6-7K miles. More expensive plugs will last longer. When you change the tranny fluid, you should also add the Mopar additive. Also, be sure to use coolant that is compatible with the type specified in the owner's manual.
I better change my tranny fluid, changed it when I had 18,000 on it. went with a good synthetic, now I have 58,000 on it. pulled the rubber plug on tranny,drain a little out, looked like it was just changed, had the same color to it, and it didn't have a burnt smell to it. But I better be safe than sorry and go ahead and change it.
I ran my plugs between 25,000 to 28,000 never had any problems except the gap to wide, and mabye one where the electrode breaking down, better start changing minesooner.
I have 80k miles on my '03 and havent changed the plugs in probably 45-50k miles. I did have the #4 plug problem when i first got it and after they fixed it the second time with the different plugs its run fine.The car is bone stock and as of yet that has been the only problem ive ever had with it.
