srt-4 lasting!
that all depends on how you drive it, where you drive it, what's been done to the car... it's very open ended with tons of variables that will effect the outcome...
I have 13k on my car... it's not driven in the winter or rain... it sits a lot. I have a moderate amount of aftermarket goodies on it... my car has been fine... but that is just one car. you really need to evaluate the warranty data on a car... and even then, it can be skewed...
so - it's like anything else... some times things just break and go wrong... and other times there are no problems... if I had to GUESS (key word here)... I'd say SRT's have more trouble with drivers wrapping them around telephone poles and hitting other cars than anything else... but that is just a guess...

I have a lot of faith in my car. It's been through hell & it's still going. The only problem I had was when my oil seals blew b/c the previous owner droveit like a Honda. Neons in general are hard to stop, so why should the SRTs be any different? I'd imagine the only thing you'd have problems with would be the turbos after a while. Those things don't last forever. Also, riced & raced out SRTs will probably wear out much faster, so if you treat it well, it'll last a long time.
my friend has 97k on his car and he has been to the track over 45 times with nossssssssss LOLOL J/k . anyways the turbos will last along time if you treat them right by clean oil and shutting the car down after it cools down!
2003 and early 2004 SRT-4s had problems with the turbo heat melting the #4 plug wire. That problem was fixed. That was the most common complaint when I bought my car. The SRT-4 brakes are very good. There is some wheel hop at fast take offs that can be controlled with motor mounts. If you change the oil with Mobil-1 every 3,000 miles and change the tranny fluid at around 12,000 miles (don't forget the additive), and put in fresh plugs every 6,000-7,000 miles, and don't drive it like you stole it, it should last as long as any other car............
