All I have is intake and maddog sts and I just put on an agp wastegate holding around 16 17 and it is great. Should get a stage 1 so the overboost code doesn't come up from what psi chicktold me but you will be fine as long as you don't go over 17 psi from what I have been told.

s1, stage 1 upgrade mopar....what happens if the overboost code comes on, cause one day i put a forge wastegate on and didnt know the seal was bad, and boost spiked around 24-25 psi...on a stage 1, i took it off right away, and put stock wg on...now i use to hold 16psi now it holds what ever it wants when it wants, 14-16

its a great starting mod, if you dont get stupid with it and keep turning the boost up it will get you quite a bit of noticable power but it has a downfall, it has what we call part throttle boost so you wont have to put it to the floor to get into boost but this is not a good thing, it makes your afrs (air fuel ratio) go lean if you use it as daily driving which could hurt the turbo. so if you get it just stay out of ptb or try to. its not that hard to get used to but it is different. oh and look into some t-bolt clamps so you dont run into a bunch of boost leaks like most of us have. tim

O.K. I know this is a bit off the post, but as far as the Stage 1 part throttle boost hurting the turbo--I have S1 and daily commute. I've read a few posts on the other forum regarding this and re-routing the vac lines. Is this a safe/effective method to use or is the whole thing overstated? Thanks!

ptb is inevitable to some extent. however, you state you have S1... the problems really start with ptb when you put on an aftermarket wastegate. S1 alone shouldnt be giving you much issues, if any, with ptb. if this is your only mod i would stay away from rerouting your lines.

At present I don't have an aftermarket wastegate, but I would like to in the future--not looking to go higher than 16-17psi I guess is the 'safe' number without a wideband?
