LOL, Yeah those are Michigan plates and that means Michigan winters and Michigan railroad tracks and roads. So 35 series rubber bands on 19's are completeley out of the question. What is not out of the question are lowering springs which I have been looking for, for some time, but the Dutch in me refuses to buy new and pay full retail for, when I see people selling hardly used springs as they trade up to coilovers. I just havent been quick enough to catch a deal yet. Everytime one is posted, the springs are gone almost immediately. Although I will admit to the car looking better lowered, I know I will regret often doing it and have half a mind not to. What I really want is a compromise that will let me fill the wheel well while not losing ground clearance, RIDE or wheel travel. I drive in the winter and I have several sets of railroad tracks that get bonzaied over everyday at 50 plus. The first time I have to slow to 5 mph to tip toe over them will be the same time I expect to get aXXpacked by some gomer in his f-250 flying up behind me.
I drive in the real world of crappy roads and conditions and have to survive it, but I'm thinking an inch and a half drop with my 55 series tire will let me live.
Come on now, it dont look that bad.

drive on the cross bronx expressway and then talk to me about "real" roads. that highway ripped a ferarri into two pieces a year or two ago. and no i'm not exaggerating. the thing was in two seperate pieces on the highway (ferrari warrantied the car too which was the best part lol). if i can survive driving on that with co's and a 45 series tire then you can certainly handle a few railroad tracks lol
