While the clear looks real nice, I was thinking about a metallic color, myself - I'm interested to see how the gunmetal looks, PSI chick.

it looks like you have the mesh in front of the i/c going left/right, and the nose inserts going up/down. if that's true, how do you like that look as opposed to everything in the same direction?

figured I'd try it that way to see if I liked it and set it apart a little. - Turns out I like the nose inserts in the vertical direction. Looks pretty mean to me.

The main grille - same as the old one - just the six screws in back of the bumper - real easy

The nose inserts - Carefully cut them to exactly fit the profile of the back of the nose - then fit them in the inserts and re-install. The two pops at the top of each insert act as a bump stop for the grille at the top. - took a couple of tries - don't overcut them, err to the side of to big and trim gradually.

Great - good luck with it - I know I'm very pleased with mine. It is so much more rewarding to make something yourself and install it.

BTW - I got a ton of comploments on the grille at Watknis Glen this past weekend.
(and the car got as much attention as any of the porsches, BMW's, Vettes...if not more) Everyone loves this car.

not too bad, really

to take off bumper - remove three srcews on top in the middle (8mm I think) - then two long screws(same size) that secure the headlights - then 5 screws (8mm also) under front of bumper - then unplug and remove headlights - then 3 10mm nuts in fender behind where each headlight was (facing down from top of fender) - then 2 torx screws in each fenderwell - then pull the bumper off just a little to expose the fog light plugs - Pull plugs for fogs. = One bumper off.
