Okay i know how to change my own axles now the dealership leaves me no choice. I need to know where in NYC queens can I find my own srt4 axles because the dealership is trying to rape me they want 269 per ****in axle i figure i should just get them from somewhere else or try to find an axle shop to rebuild it. But i cant seem to find a place to get the axle from.

 

theres a company that sells them for 150...there should be a thread 'round here related to axles and stuff.....look for it

UPDATE! I went to the dealership today and they didnt do any work to the car they said it takes 3 weeks for the confirmation so that they can work on my car being that its from another contract. So i said **** it i took my car back and then I cancelled their so called bull******* contract for their bull**** *** warrantee. And i told the manager of the dealership to cancel it he asked why and i told him **** that im not paying for this kinda aservice if nothings being done to the car why should i pay ,so you didnt work on my car so im not paying so cancel it thankyou and i want a confirmation number by tommorrow or im calling my lawyer to let him know thanks.

 

So im gonna fix it myself im mechanically inclined but i guess im gonna have to cut the slack.

 

it takes about 20 mintues to change an axle, it's not really that hard. i've done it a number of times lol.

 

what about wheel bearings?

 

you need a press to do that. it's not hard, but you can't do it without one.
