A good friend of mine is trading his car in, the car is fully built, but he'll be turning the car in a few days.He told me I could pick whatever I wanted but I had to replace it with my stock parts....Iallready gothiswheels, FMIC,ported intake manifold with aftermarked T-Body,Return line kit,750 Rc injectors,and E-manage.I'm also keeping his seats(i got the boring looking ones),I dont think I'll have time to take the turbo kit out, its a shame to let that thing go, its a precision custom made turbo(GT38 i think, sot sure), it was built for a supra but the guy never picked it up so my friend bought it.Now I'm looking for a turbo kit but not sure what to get.I'm planning to race at the track only, and why not a few 3rd gear rolls on the streets, but deff. looking to make big power at the track...any suggestions?While I decide wich turbo i shouldbuy and save some money I'm gonna tune with the e-manage at 19 or 20 psi and prob. a 50 shot of nos.Well any suggestions would be great...thanks

I wont have time to take the whole kit out....and stock oil lines look plugged or cut, big mess and I dont even have a lift to work on.If I could fing a cheap turbo to put on and keep his that would be sweeeeeeeeeeeet.....damn thing was like $1000(ball bearing with everything inside custom made and upgraded)

 

$1000 is not expensive... what is your goal for the track ?

 

high 10s or low 11s....But a buddy of mine just called and told me he's selling a used 50 trim for 100 bucks.I just need a t4 back housing, i got a couple of those laying around the house so I'll slap one of those on the 50 trim and put it on the car and keep the precision turbo.Now I just need a manifold, wastegate and down pipe.
