So I was getting an alignment done after I installed mmy springs this weekend. I was chatting with the manager and a few other salesman about cars. They asked me questions about the SRT-4 and we got onto the replacement. I am not sure if this is true but what they told me is Dodge is planning to reintroduce the Avenger which is suppose to take place of the neon. It is suppose to fall underneath the stratus price wise but the SRT model is going to be a 3.5L 250hp V6. I guess Dodge is planning a different model that would be an entry model car. They didn't tell me about that, but they were all gung-ho on this whole new reincarnation of the Avenger. Man, I love taking my car to the dealership, it is so much fun. Good rumors too.

I liked the avenger it was a nice car, my brother had one but it had some elec issues. But it was a nice car. They should bring them back

It doesn't hold to the "original Avenger" I realize... but I don't mind the new setup... beats the Honda Element, Scion Box, and the Aztec (just my opinion)...

 

What the!!!!! I am not a fan of that. I guess that thing is suppose to be AWD. That is nothing like the old Avenger. I liked the old Avenger. If they brought that back redesigned as a sports car, that would be awesome. How could that be an SRT-4 rerplacement.

 

I like the idea of the car... AWD Sedan to challenge Subaru... I'm sure it would handle nicely and with some tuning would put out some great numbers... but there is no way it should replace the SRT-4. The only concept that would be worthy of replacing needs to have the same concepts. HP + Low Cost. MAKE THE DAMN RAZOR ALREADY!!!![sm=goodidea.gif]
