OH YEAH, by the way the grill you guys are buying for the front of your srt 's is the EXACT stuff they have at lowes home improvement called "gutter guard" and all you need is a pair of tin snips! i did my other cars with that stuff and everyone always asked me why mine stayed so "chrome" looking! It works great, it stronger than the stuff you order, and it will cost you about $4.00 instead of $40.00 or 50.00! this is what is being sold on Ebay they just precut it for you! It will take you all of 5 minutes to cut this yourself and save a good chunk of money! just wanted to share one of my little secrets with you guys! [sm=icon_rock.gif]

Thanks for the reminder of the gutter guard. I've used that product many times for modifications on my son's cars...works great and the price is great!

 

What's funny is that the sellers on Ebay always say, "This is not the stuff you can buy at Lowe's!"

 

Yep, I've got a catalog with hundreds of different styles and sizes of this stuff including finishes.

 

And you can get it powdercoated for a few bucks too. I did that on my last few cars. I got a 8ft by 4ft sheet and powdercoated a bunch and sold it to my friends. Looks nice powdercoated.

 

it's not gutter guard...believe me on that one. gutter guard is crap compared to the stuff that the reputable places are selling. it's a lot stronger and looks a hell of a lot better. this discussion was done already on srtforums, if you want to read the arguments on both sides i suggest you look there. there's probably at least 20 pages of it.

personally, i would never put that stuff on my car, it wouldn't do a damn thing to protect the fmic. i'll stick with my high grade mesh that will actually block rocks and debris when it comes flying at my car....

This has convinced me to keep my perfectly fine stock grill....nobody is going to see anything except my (Mopar) taillights anyway!!!
