Default new t3/t4

alright, i just got hooked up with a t3/t4 turbo and i was wondering how hard it is to get it installed into my srt which is currently stock. any advice on exactly how to go about it would be much appreatiated. i know i can figure it out but pointers on the process to make it quicker and safer for parts would be a lot of help. plus i was wondering if it would screw anything up if i did put it in with a stock setup or if there is other stuff i need to do to make sure it doesnt throw anything else off that i would have to get adjusted. psi chick i know you got some info for me haha you have the answers for everything it seems like so someone drop some info on this please

well beforewe can help, we need more info as to what the turbo is. a t3/t4 turbo only refers to the flanges, not the actual size of the turbo. so, what size is it? once we know that, we can give you better advice as to how to set the car up without blowing it up lol

afriend of minedid that....his motor only lasted a few months.He was boosting the crapout of it so that might give you an idea why.I would buy a wideband first just to be safe.You'll also need a manifold,wastegate,and downpipe.But like psichick said its kinda hard to help without knowing how big the turbo is.

also, plan on buying some fuel upgrades: pump, rail, injectors, management system

and the wideband is a must for a tuned car

well, i honestly dont know the exact size of it yet because i havent gotten a chance to see it. i just got back in town but while i was out of town my friend called me up and said that he was getting a good deal on a t3/t4 and wanted to trade it for my 16g to put in his talon tsi cause he didnt want a turbo like that. i was planning on ateast getting the t3 manifold and wastegate for it from agp so i could install it right away but not change the boost at all until i was able to afford all the fuel and o2 parts i need to turn it up a little. would this be an ok idea so that i could atleast get a better turbo and drive my car or should i tell him to wait till i get all the rest of the parts for it first?

People referring to the 16g are normally talking about the Hahn turbo kit..... the stock turbo is a TD04LR-16Gk ..... so I guess you could say its a 16Gk?
