Default MSD Ignition.

Are any of you running the msd coil pack along with your MSD wires? If not what is the purpose of having the wires? Do they give you some added performance? I have a link to a site some of you may be framiliar with already, but if not check it out many many things for the SRT on the site.. http://www.modernperformance.com/dcx/srt4_index.shtml

Here is a picture of the MSD coil pack and a full upgraded MSD Ignition

oh yeah? modernperformance.com eh? guess we'll have to check that one out eh guys?[sm=smiley2.gif]
i'm just messin with ya. that's the most popular site on this forum. the coil pack is just a replacement for the stock unit- roadrunner has one, he'll tell you all about it.
there are 2 advantages to the wires- they give a better spark due to increased diameter and lower resistance, and they don't get cooked (i'll let the other guys expound on that one- i'm sure they want to jump in here too).

(Stepping up to the mic)

Yeah, the 90 degree angle routes the #4 wire away from the turbo, plus the wires are covered in a high heat-resistant silicone formula.

Plus they just look better than stock.
