I got a letter from my dealer yesterday, I'm sure alot of people got them. Whats intresting is they gave me a card giving me 10% off all parts and service. Its not much and I'm not sure if thats a standard thing. None the less I thought it was pretty nice.

yup i never got anything either, the only thing was a letter saying that the owners manual had a misprint concenrning the oil recomendations, or somehing like that...

 

whats odd is i didnt get that I just bought mine 2 months ago and my manuel says 10-30 mobil 1 is recommended.

 

they might have fixed the manual for the 04 models, mine its an 03. i'm guessing you have the 04 model.

 

my 04 tells me to put 5w30.. i guess i got an early 04

 

yeah i have an 04 and like i said i just got it so i would think i would have the updated one but i dont.

 

The 5W-30 recommendation isn't in my 04 manual either. They did print it up on a yellow card however, and slipped iit in next to the owner's manual and all the other paperwork they give you in that black plastic pouch.

I checked my dealer's web page and they had a 10% off deal on parts thru 30 Sep. That was the extent of it. I never got a letter about it though.
