I am going to Phoenix in three weeks and noticed that the AGP store is neer my destination, and i am thinking of purchasing a stg 4 kit price online is 3600 so i called to see if this kit is complete as they clame online and i would not need anything else. cause i dont want to have to piece together a kit. so i am on the phone with them and they say its ready to bolt on and go. on top of that the salesmen said if i was going and buying cash he would sell it cheaper than online price. any opinions or any one have this that can share some info?

 

IMO, if I had the money and could do that, that is what I'd do. I've been eyeballin those AGP kits for a while.

 

I was also looking at them and i couldnt believe that they would have all that for that price! I was looking, and I was wondering what you would get like 50 trim standard, 50 trim ball bearing, or GT3076R? and i have no idea what most of the rest of the stuff is. BOV Combo, turbo XS rfl kit or UHP ssq with ssq? FMIC, direct, standard, or race? and Boost Controller, Turbonetics VBC or DTEC FCBC?
I hate when they abv. stuff

Well lets break it down.

If you go back to that same page they explain what each part is for in more detail.

50 Trim
The standard is just that, the standard. The Dual Ball Bearing 50 Trim Spools faster than the standard. The GT30 is like a 50 Trim with more ***** but have a couple differences in spool and such.

BOV
Needed cause the 50 trim or GT30 pushes a lot more air into the engine thus you will be needing a better way to release the pressure. The stock unit doesn't cut it. I would go with the UHP SSQ, it come with the pipe to bolt on.

For the (F)ront (M)ount (I)nter(Cooler) I would either go standard or race. The bigger inmost cases the better but you'll lose your crash bar with the race usually. There are some out there that retain that ability.

Boost Controller is something you will need to control boost obviously. With bigger turbos you will definitely be able to up the boost, provided you meet the fuel requirements.

That's where the DTEC or Turbonetics VBC come in. I don't know much about the VBC but theDTEC can help control fuel. It's actually not that hard.

I don't know if the kit comes with injectors but I know you will need toupgrade the clutch.

This is the kit I'm working to get as we speak.I'll either buy just the turbo and maifold or the whole kit. I haven't decided yet.

 

Kit includes injectors fuel pump and all other supporting mods other than the clutch, and i was told with 04's and 0'5 a stg upgrade on the pcm is not needed, not a bad deal for kit price, i originaly was going to go with the mopar stg 3 but this kit gives you a little more room for upgrades if you wish to go with more HP.

 

that wouldn't be around the time line of July 16th - July 24th would it?? I'll be out that way as well for work... well, Phoenix, then over to Vegas... and back!

So the AGP Stage 4 kit gurentee's 400 hp and over?

 

no. if you have the correct supporting mods you CAN make 400hp. no kit is guaranteed to make anything. if you don't support it and don't tune it you could end up with 250hp, how are they supposed to know
