AEM cold air intake...
Don't buy it unless you want to have the under side of your hood and inner fender repainted! The tube will not fit no matter what you do. I have contacted AEM by email and phone and they will no resolve or listen to me on the many issues with there CAI set up. I recommend the K&N Typhoon as it makes more power v the AEM and will fit with out binding on anything.
I have had the AEM for over two months now...closer the three.....the funky rubber gasket that i glued on has wore out from the movement from the tube contacting it, which has just about wore a two inch long gash in the lower tube....then there is the numerous parts of it rubbing on the bottom of the hood.......pics included you be the judge......

That is the AEM CAI and not the short ram, the short ram has the filter located under the hood whereas the CAI goes into the fender and has the filter between the inner and outer fender.
I always have loved my K & N Typhoon CAI.

AEM, in so many words said it was a problem with the install, not there product.....Bump to them...Never buy any more AEM products..........I'm going back to the stock air box with my K&N filter.....
Another concern with AEM products is their bypass valve. Many people buy these to keep their cars safe from sucking up water, which it will keep from happening, but it even says right in their instructions that it can cause a loss in performance, especially in a turbocharged car. So you may be playing it safe by buying this valve, but it can and will hurt your performance.[:'(]
the only way bypass valves really work is if the filter is under water... so unless your goin threw creaks or huge puddles then you should be good. i have a bypass on my k&n cai on my eclipse but ive never needed it.

You can save almost $100 by doing the $20 "homemade" OCC as described in previous pages in this section of Dodge Forum...
