Default car at dealer

well, today as i was comming out of the school parking lot, i stoped to say wuzz up to some friends and they noticed a little ticking noise comming from my engine, i popped the hood and the noise got louder, so i took it to the dealership, i also noticed that for a couple of days the car was runnig a bit hot, they fixed the heating problem, by replacing some hose or some like that, but i had to leave the car for the ticking problem, but now i regreat being Mr. im to cool to get an extended warranty, so now im stucked without a car for i dont know how long. I was woundering has anybody noticed any thicking noise before????? if so what was the problem??? cause i dont think they know what the [sm=smiley35.gif] its wrong with my car.

Yep, the '03-'04 SRT-4's have the 7/70 powertrain warranty standard with the 3/36 bumper to bumper. The '05's are screwed with only a 3/36 powertrain standard. I purchased the extended warranty on my SRT-4 that extends the bumper to bumper warranty to 7/70.

As long as they cannot prove that any of your mods are directly responsible for any failures or malfunctions, your good to go. But if they can prove that they caused the problem, then your gonna be the one paying for the repair.[:@]

Yup, the free loaner car was part of the extended warranty or warranties....I got a "special warranty" for the first year that included the free oil changes and the loaner car as well as trip interuption protection that pays for hotel bills, food, etc. and the bumper to bumper protection for 7/70....it was kinda costly and that's why I've been careful about the mods I've put on.

BTW, the "loaner car" is only good for a max of 5 days. After that, you foot the bill @ about $22 a day.
