I was wondering what is the fluid capacity of the transmission
and what you guys recomend ,synthetic ?

Dude, read the owners manual or get in touch quickly with your local Dodge Dealer. The tranny has special needs like an additive that you can get from your dealer.......also, change your fluid MORE often than in the manual......12-14K seems to be the average...

2.5 quarts of atf +4 plus a bottle of friction modifier.

as for what to use, there's a lot of opinion on that. i've been using the mopar stuff and have no complaints, however i hear that the redline is a good alternative. and yes as dusty said, change it every 12k/1yr for optimal performance.

and im pretty sue you can get the mopar atf+4 at walmart for a good price, not sureif they have the additive though.

yes, i have seen the MOPAR ATF+4 at Wal-Mart cheaper than at the dealer. but youll still need to fork out like8 or 10 bucks fot the friction modifier. Just buy 3 quarts and fill it up, youll have a little bit left over.
