finally!!!!!!!!
yup i got a called today from loonie, thats the name of the guy that call me to let me know my 2nd stage w/o turbo toys had arrived, i have it right here with me, but i have to wait till thursday to get it install, by friday i should have it install and sunday hit yellow belly (dragstrip) to see if it really helped or not. is there a brake in period for the 2nd stage? just wondering cause i dont want to mess this one up. (no warranty)
If all you have is the Stage 2 w/o toys, you should be able to run "normal" right away. However, I would take it easy till I had some miles on it and was certain there were no leaks. Double check all your connections after a few days...
You'll love it. Got mine in last week, going to the track tonight. Boost seems to come in a lot earlier, I don't feel much lag at all. Kinda of miss the half throttle take off and feeling the boost suddenly kick in though. It kinda just sneeks up on ya now. Best part, took the wife for a ride, hit it in 2nd gear a couple of times, she said she lost her stomache both times. Very Cool! [8D]
yup stage 2 is what i ment. got used to the roush 2nd stage. yes i only have the s2 and a greddy bov, wich equals to nothing. lol....hahaha. t0973mf let me know how you do at the track, and whats the best way to race it. (if any different).
Oh how much I want Stage 2 w/toys, but I may have to suffice for Stage 1 until next year or simply hold off until then.[

Well track times are not as good as I expected but maybe this is normal. 13.5's @ 105 mph. This was not with race gas. I have the k&n air intake and Mopar exhuast and as before mentioned stage 2. I can't help you with launch techniques, this is the hardest vehicle I've ever tried to race. I tried to slip the clutch out of the hole, got a little wheel hop, slammed into 2 and spun for 3 ft. I'm sure I could be 13.4's with drag radials.
Just another note about the strip last night. Real cocky guy shows up in his brand new 05 STi. Typical jerk bragging about how fast his car is, trying to bet people $50 to race him. Well he's running 13.4's so that's only 1 to 2/10's from my time so I tell him I think I could take him on the highway since he's got the awd and I've got major traction issues compared to him. Of course he turns his nose up at my car and say's there's no way I could keep up since he beat some Porshe turbo or something. Even put's $200 on it. As much as I would have enjoyed showing him what $10,000 less looks like in front of him, I just didn't think it would be very responsible of me to race down some dark country road doing 140 during deer season. What do you guy's (and girl's) think, could I have been $200 richer? I'm walking away and his friend ask him how the heck did I get mine that fast and I'm thinking that's nothing if you knew the potential. Just another clown not doing his homework before buying something.
