i got a wga i put it on the car an it spiked like crazy and made the car stutter, like 26 psi, stock turbo, i knew something was wrong, but i know its not right! its the forge wga, i think the seal is messed up , but i dont know where to buy one ive searched everywhere...$60 bucks is what im looking to get obo....im in the downtown orlando area, florida...

 

you're trying to sell a broken wga for $60?

did you try adjusting the wga or just assumed that it was bad and are getting rid of it?

 

What kind of waste gate is it? and where did you get it and how much

 

its a forge wga, cost 175, and i think there is maybe a little rip in the seal thats all, but i cant find where to buy a seal, and i've tried adjusting it, 60 bucks for a wga thats got a replaceable cheap fix isnt bad!

 

How did you hook it up? Do you have Stage 1? Cause if you hooked it up to the stock lines without Stage 1 or a boost controller it will spike like that until the computer relearns the WG. It will usually throw an overboost code too without S1 or a manual BC. Something to think about.

an i had some type of homemade boost controller, that i thought was the prob. so i took it off an just used the wga, an it did the same thing?? should i....get a turbo xs mbc an tri it out??i just dont want to take it out again, because i was boosting 16 psi on just s1, holding, spiking 17 , 18, then when i put the upgrades(wga, mbc) it did the prob, an then when i put the stock wga back on, i only boost 10-12 psi holding, max!! and after a couple of months it worked its way back up to 16, so like i gained 1 psi every 2 months lol, sounds really fregginstupid! but thats what happened
