NEED TO BEAT UP A GTO
I would look into suspension mods first. The biggest problem with FWD cars is excessive wheel hop when launching. If you can prevent wheel hop, you can launch harder. The harder you can launch, the faster the turbo spools and the faster you go. Dog bones, coil overs and drag radials are wheel hop's arch enemies.
After that, a few bolt ons should get you into the low 13s, upper 12s without much problem.

I don't have much done to my car and have beaten a couple stock gto's. They are not as fast as some people like to think. When I went to the track last month I lined up next to one and I ran 13.6 @106 and he ran 13.9 but I can't remember his mph. That was his best run of the day that I saw mostly 14.0's that day for him and it was really hot but still the driver is the biggest thing when racing.
Goats are very nice cars, but very heavy. You should be able to kick his butt from a roll while stock, don't recomend running from a dig cuz he will own you (traction control).Buy a wastegate, intake, plugs, maddog ss,and a good bov to replace that pos stock bov and you should be good to run 13.5s on street tires
boy i sure wish i could have found some of those 14 second 400hp gto's when my mustang was stock, then i probably wouldn't have spent over 13k on the kenne bellsupercharger and all thesupporting mods. i've seen several '05 and '06 gto's run low 13's stock or even high 12's with nothing more than a cai and cb and mid 12's with cai,cb and dr's. when my srt was stock i raced an '05 that had a cai and cb from a 60mph roll in 3rd and i got a one car jump on him.....until we hit 4th and then he walked past me fairlyquick and continued to pull away, so i'd guess he was way closer to 13.0 instead of 14.0 and we're equal drivers because when we switched cars we had same results. haven't raced again since i modded the srt, but i'd assume that the race would be much closer now.
