Default spark plug replacement

hi Everyone, i just replaced the plugs in my SRT4 for the first time. I bought it with 5K and it now has 15K and i think they were original. Anyway the post is about how tight they should be - they only went finger tight plus about 1/8 inch - is this normal? In the past i have gone finger tight plus 1/4 turn on older cars. I know i should have a torque wrench and i think ill go buy one does anyone know the correct torque setting for the plugs? I have to say though i took it for a 2 mile ride after putting them in and whoa what a difference!

thank you for any help - my car diddnt come with a manual - i think ill call the dealer for one on Monday.

I just replaced my plugs in my car and i would say that you are right. Hand tight and then not even a 1/8 turn.

Plugs without gaskets should only be finger tight plus 1/8of a turn, MAX. 1/16 might make you sleep better at night......
