Well I'm gon tell u what u prolly heard already, depends on what u want, knowledge of tuning and weather u want to plug and play or play around wit the car a lot.

They both are gud and u cud technically get a bigger wheel for the stage 3 and bore out the maifold to get sum pretty gud numbers off the back.

S3 is gud if u want to drop it in and go w/o any tuning. Easy, simple and stealthy... well except the turbo. Gud power right out of the box.

S4 will give u some really gud reliable power with the right mods and tuning. The S4 kit in my opinion is more bang for your buck but tuning is a must. U get alot more stuff in s4 than s3 and gain a lot more power. Tuning isn't hard but it is time consuming. U can do it urself with the right tools or take it to a shop that can do it for u.

Like I said, all in what u want...

They both can be daily drivers and sum people will tell u if they cud they wud have rather went stage 3 for a daily driver.

why would it be better to go to a stage 3 for better daily driver.
and what i really want is just about 400-450 hp. and be done pretty much. tunning doesnt bother me so much. ill have a pro do that. but would the stage 4 supply everything i need to withstand everything that stage 4 will throw at me?
some people said that if i buy a stage 3 it would be faster after i bolt everything on than the stage 4 would be after thats all bolted up? if the stage 3 only makes 330hp and the stage 4 makes alittle over 400. whats the difference

Ok, the s3 has a smaller turbo that the s4.

Now the s3 gives you the pcm, turbo + maifold, toys option, injectors, fuel railand sensorsin a nut shell and you'll still have to buy things like a clutch, better fuel pump and stuff of that nature. I don't know the exact numbers for s3 but you will have to do a lot more to get it into the 400-450 range. These kits retail at about $3100 (no toys)- $3700 (toys)and u might be able to find them a bit cheaper if u look around.

Now s4 gives u a Turbo + Manifold, BOV, Cold Air Intake, Fuel Controller, Boost Controller, Bigger Intercooler,Motor Mountsand you'll still have to buy bigger injectors, clutch, fuel pump and a couple more things. Now u can get this kit for $3600 or more deoending on what options u pick and it's cable (with all the right mods on your car) of pushing well into 400whp.

Now with that said, the biggest difference in the kits are the turbos. The 50trim turbo (AGP) is bigger than the s3 turbo thus able to push more air throuugh and create more hp. But remember, every turbo has strengths and weaknesses and s3 turbo are quick spoolers and do pretty well at the track. Dont get me wrong though, a 50 trim can kick *** too. I just rather have the overall hp and power when I need it, that's why I'm going with the 50 trim. s4 gives everything u need to get to 400whp quick. I pretty sure you'll mod after u put the kits on and u can really see the difference between and modded s3 and a modded s4. Your choice though.

s3 would be better for a daily driver mainly because its plug and play, no tuning, no nuthin, just go. I friend has the AGP as a daily driver with no issues what so ever. It's just every so often, he'll have to tune the car.

Lastly, I strongly suggest that u buy all the supporting mods BEFORE u buy the kit. You dont have too but you wont get the full potential out of either kit without the supporting mods. Pick the kit that u want and works toward it. Then when u get it, you'll just bolt it on and watch the numbers fly. Let me know which one u go with and I can tell u what u minght need for it.

S4 comes with 750cc injectors and 255fuel pump ........S4 will make 400whp without anything else on the car, however your clutch will start to go.

Forgot to add you will need a full exhaust either way.

I already have a full 3 inch exhuast single exit. and i already know aobut the clutch. so i guess ill be going to stage 4.. i will just have to have someone tune it everytime the temp or weather changes. but i think the stage 4 is worth it. after you told me about stage 3. and i will be getting a stage 1 pcm from a friend of mine. but thank you for letting me know what to get and all the ups and downs

before reading this i had my mind set on the st4 but i think i am going to go with the st3 for the simple fact of im more of a plug and play kind of guy, not to mention i live in the middle of BFE! the nearest pro shop is in Houston about 8hrs from me so. i drive my car about twice a week but take long drives at the drop of a dime. and i would hate to risk reliability over HP, plus after looking at numbers and video after video they seem evenly matched when st3 is on HOM.

they are fairly evenly matched w/hom on.

having a big turbo does give you more room to play, but you're still limited by the engine. with either kit if you want to be in teh 450+ range you're putting the block in danger.

and always remember.....just because someone has a 500hp dyno sheet doesn't mean that the car is fast. i've seenmore than one450-500+ hp srt never run better than a mid 13.....all the power in the world won't help you if you can't get it to the ground......

500whp and run a 13 ? ..... I don't think I've ever seen anything that bad at the track.
