The inserts are the way to go...if you can handle alittle bit more noise as RR pointed out...and others that have done this mod...when you want to go balastic...try a set of AGP's solid motor mounts.....talking about "feeling" your engine.....nice.
Im debating if i want inserts or get new motor mounts, but i heard the AGP and the psi-fi mounts break or have some type of issue with them. Any suggestions?

i just installed mine........ very easy to install.........the splash guard that you take off to do the lower one..the bolts are cheap....i couldnt get them to tighten back up.... i felt a shake in the steering only when i started the car............when i drove it home.all i felt was a little more shake in the pedals

and the sound inside the cab is louder....it seems to me to have changed the sound a little too.....not for the better either..but i still like it

and also i did the top one without anything under the motor...... i think you could do the bottem one too without anything but i put a jack just incase

You can do it without anything under the motor, that's how I did mine without any problems. They are actually not the motor mounts, they are torque struts that control the engines torque and twisting motion. This is why you can do it without bracing under the engine, since it isn't the actual mounts, but there is still a chance that the engine could move during installation making it hard to get the bolts back in.

It will be noticeably better once you get the bottom one in place.
