I want to build my srt-4?What mods should i do to make it withstand hard driving

 

how much money are you willing to spend?

 

don't know how much power you plan on making, but for hard driving it sounds like traction, mountsand suspension might be a good place to start. then full exhaust and bolt ons.

 

what are you calling hard driving? if it's just beating on it on the highway and stuff then nothing, it's fine stock.

 

Well i was beating mine on the freeway and i think i threw a bearing, its still at the dealership, but i want to make about 400 whp i was thinkin a 50 trim kit but if my motor got hurt runnin the internals stock wont it need more work with the 50 trim?? where do i start/finish on parts. Ive talked to shops and they know nothin.....??

 

I started out in my acr with a catch can is a must a intake I went with injen and than a sts and somekind of bov and motor mounts , booger bushings and a mopar borla exhaust I also went with a map clamp all on with my stock turbo but you could stage it I would do stage 2 without toys . Oh yeah some kind of wga also. Also better plugs and msd wires.

 

you don't need to do anything to the internals to run 400hp. the motor's limit is 450-500.

 

AGP motor mounts, coil heat shield, wider rubber and an OCC for starters. Use synthetic lubes in the engine and trans.
