I am a TAD UPSET
Took the car in Today for its clay bath and detail. Drop it off at 8:40 am. Pick it up at 2:30 pm. Upon inspection of the car I find some scrathcs just below the hood scoop that where not there. Of course the dealer states they were. Driving the car home The OIL LIGHT comes on. I'm like wtf? I turn around and drive back to the dealer. Pull in and turn the car off. Service guy comes out and checks the oil. Says oil level is fine. Start it back up again no light. He informs me to just watch it. I drive home again it comes on and off the whole way home. The car feels sluggish now wtf did they do to my car. Im not sure whats wrong with it. They did detail the motor my guess is they knocked something lose. I have checked all visual things I can find. But nothing.
It's way too early for a lawsuit besides, there's no damages to sue for (yet, maybe).
Things CAN be knocked around if you're not careful in the engine bay. I dunno, but I MAY have tagged my air intake sensor when I put on my Stage 1.....causing it to pop off later. Either that, or the factory put it on wrong. Hard to say. There ARE several sensors that kinda sit out in the open on a SRT-4 engine.....

It sounds to me as though they knocked something loose or got slovent or dressing into a contact or plug causing the loss of a signal, perhaps the oil pressure sending unit causing the light to go on and off like that.
Yep, it sounds like a connection or a plug got some cleaner or something in it and the engine heat and the time sitting dried it up and then it regained it's full connection.
