I would have to go with Stage 1. I did this before my exhaust. Just get a used one though and have it reflashed. Don't waste $300+ when there are so many Stage 1's floating around with everyone going with Stage 2 and eventually Stage 3. You can get a used one for roughly $200. And get it reflashed through Flight Systems for $37. And I have the info on that as well.

It all depends on what you want in the end. If you are eventually going to get Stage 2 or 3 and don't plan to have more than 350 horsepower, then definately get the Borla. But if you are only going to go as far as Stage 1, then you might want to get Stage 1 first. I myself didn't notice a big difference in the sound between the stock and the Borla exhaust, but it does give it a nicer, deeper and meaner sound to it. If you want added performance as well as added sound, then get the Borla, but it you just want more performance, then get Stage 1 as it will give you slightly bigger gains.

I got the exhaust first simply because it was shipped quicker. It takes a few weeks for them to flash your VIN and mileage into the Stage 1 PCM and then ship it to you....

I dunno about the HP numbers. Modern Performance believes the stock HP numbers are closer to 250 to 255....add to that an average of 10 HP for the Stage 1 and the Mopar/Borla, plus a couple for the K&N filter...

Since I bought the extended warranty, I'm trying to keep my SRT-4 as much "Mopar" as I can in the event I have to have service work done. It's not guaranteed to work, but so far, it has...

I bought my Mopar/Borla exhaust from those guys, they are located near Houston, Texas.....good folks to deal with.

It's still going to take you 2-3 weeks to get the Stage 1 PCM delivered, it's got to be flashed to your particular car. (See details on the item in the ad)
