Default New to the Srt4

I had posted awhile back thinking about getting an srt4, well yesterday I bought a 2004 SRT4 with 21,000miles. I ordered the stage 1 kit already. What other mods can i do before i upgrade to stage 2? what exhuast, wastegate, bov, etc are good for these cars? I want around 400hp when I am finished. I will eventually upgrade to stage2 but after i get a few other mods on the car. Where should I start?

problem with just buying the stage1 is id still need the injectors, and with the wastegate and bov im still reading up on and figuring out stuff. I was more interested at this time in learning the fine things that make these cars move fast. Do i need motor mounts? suspension wise? how many PSI can the car handle on jus the stage1 upgrade? with a full exhaust,wg,bov, fmic what kind of numbers would i be looking at? Where can I find a dual outlet turboback that has aggressive sound, not to high pitch but low rumble?

You're going to get a new ECu with S2 also...
BOV doesn't change (depends on what you consider the stock system to be... but... )
motor mounts or for the cost minded - motor mount inserts (mounts are better, but can increase vibration)
coil overs for suspension... I have S3 mopars... but...
PSI... 17-18?? nothing more than that... S1 doesn't allow to boost to the moon... you need fuel upgrades for that (and no, S2 doesn't allow for much of that either)
numbers? who cares... are you competitively racing? numbers are for bench racing and people who don't know how to drive!
I like the Mopar exhaust... nice sound... there are plenty of other nice systems... names slip my mind...

I just realized that the 2004/5 srt4 only get a pcm upgrade with the stage1. So i may take you up on that offer in my email srt4eric. I'm just so endecisive(sp??). I don't know what these cars "need" like if you swap this part you should do this one also etc etc. If we were in the ford world(blah i know) i could do this picking of parts in a flash.

yea i figured that out. I'm still stuck on what to get, looking at max fab im going to get one of his full exhausts, seem to be a good buy. Still need help with the charge pipe/aftermarket bov. If i purchase a turbo xs rfl bov and a perrin charge pipe will i need one of the adaptors like used with the stock pipe? Or will this aftermarket charge pipe allow my bov to "bolt right on"

most hardpipes allow u to pick the bov flange for whatever bov ur wanting to use. the exhaust depot hardpipes allow u to use the greddy hks or turbo xs bov.

ok, with the turbo piping, should it be replaced when aiming for the 400fwhp? With 400hp in my eyes would the stage 1 pcm be enough? Im sure ill need bigger injectors etc but could the pcm itself adjust to the hp or would it need retuned?

u will need a bigger turbo if u want 400whp. the stock one is only good for around 300whp. U should look into the mopar stage3 kit.
