Pardon my language, but when I called GEICO and changed my insurance from a honda civic to a srt-4, the gecko lizard made a house call to stop by and kick me in the sack![:-] so to answer your ?........YES! especially depending on your age! Mine was high at first but then I passed that magical age where I cuts in half!

In california the car symbol for the SRT-4 to the insurance companys is a 22H the higher the letter and number the higher the insurance., Let me put it in perspective. A 2004 Chevy Corvette is a 21H

my insurance isn't bad at all, $726/6 months. that's cheaper than what we paid on the mustang for liability when it was a daily driver.

my insurance is comparable to PSI Chicks at ~700 something every 6 months... not great... but here's another comparison... my 1993 Ford Thunderbird with minium (PL&PD) coverage is ~280 every 6 months... [:'(]

I have been quoted through different companies as much as ~1500 every 6 months... so...

I only pay about 400 every six months, but i get multiple car discount (3) and a homeowners insurance discount. I guess i should tell you i am married with 2 kids, which somehow i think plays into it.

My insurance went from $800 a year on my truck to $1,400 a year on the SRT-4. My company is USAA and I haven't had any speeding tickets or accidents in over 7 years.
Plus, I'm way past 25 years of age!!!!!!!
