none of the stage kits remove the cat so you'll be fine with that. s2 swaps injectors, wga and sensors, s3 adds the turbo/manifold as well. that's why i said if you have a stupid inspector. they look so close to stock that most people won't notice the change, but if it's someone that knows about the car they'll be able to spot it. as long as you keep the other stuff stock or put the stock stuff back in (like intake, tb, etc.) if you change it you shouldn't have a problem.
Thanks, alot psi chick!

Also... Is it true that the stage 2 will pass emissions without the code scrubber?

the s2 w/toys ecu is actually the computer from an automatic pt cruiser. they needed to use a different ecu because it is able to do more and has more hardware inside. when they made the conversion there was a bit of a screw up, intentionally or not. they never took the automatic transmission programming out of the ecu, so when it's plugged into a obd port it throws three codes related to an automatic transmission. obviously we don't have one of these and this is why it's throwing the codes. the mp guys were nice enough to make sure that it didn't throw a check engine light or interfere with operation, however they did not remove the codes from the ecu. the n2mb box removes the codes. the s3 ecu also will throw this code, it doesn't matter if it's toys or not there's only one ecu for s3 and it's capable of running either way.

the s2 no toys ecu is a reprogrammed stock ecu so it doesn't have the extra circuitry for the automatic transmission.
